Yesterday, The Countess has finished her working visit in Canada. In the afternoon, The Countess of Wessex as Colonel in Chief of the regiment attended events with the Lincoln and Welland Regiment in the afternoon.courtesy of The Lincoln and Welland Regiment Museum via Twitter feed |
Her Royal Highness departed Toronto Pearson International Airport for the United Kingdom in the evening, and arrived on the next morning at Heathrow Airport in London.
I think the visit went really well, simply great. I admire HRH for conducting her royal duties with a smile and not a sight of being tired after long flight, and huge time difference. The Countess has proven to be perfect in her role as Global Ambassador and I am looking forward to 'covering' more visits on behalf of 100 WHF.
