Second day of Royal Ascot - Earl & Countess of Wessex arrive in a carriage with Crown Prince Couple of Denmark

My prayers have been heard! After 10 years TRH's Earl and Countess of Wessex arrived to the Royal Ascot in a carriage, with none other but the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Denmark. It has made many royal watchers very happy. First of all, we all have waited for a long time for such an entrance, also TRH's guests were over the top.

As for the other arrivals, in the first carriage arrived HM The Queen (wearing Stewart Parvin outfit in shades of cyclamen pink, ivory and latte with matching hat by Angela Kelly; The Queen also debuted new diamond flower clip brooch by Cartier), The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of Argyll and Mr. William Farish.

In the second carriage was The Prince of Wales with The Duchess of Cornwall and The Lord Vestey & The Lady Vestey. Samuel George Armstrong Vestey, 3rd Baron Vestey Bt KCVO GCStJ DL is a British peer, landowner, philanthropist and businessman. Lord Vestey currently serves as Master of the Horse to the Royal Household.

In the fourth and final carriage, Ascot debut from The Duke of Cambridge and The Duchess of Cambridge, who arrived with The Hon. Wentworth Beaumont and The Hon. Mrs. Wentworth Beaumont. The Duchess re-wore her lace Dolce & Gabbana dress with new hat by Jane Taylor in Una sttyle.

Now, let's take a closer look at The Countess of Wessex's outfit. Sophie wore another bespoke Emilia Wickstead creation, its style and cut reminds me of this Silk L Finale Dress. HRH accessorized with bespoke hat by Jane Taylor and aquamarine brooch and aquamarine ring. Simply stunning look! One of my absolute favourites.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark re-wore her Marc Jacobs orange chiffon dress with Jane Taylor hat, which she also wore to the Monaco Royal Wedding in 2011. I don't know how you feel about today's Ascot, but I have been very excited since I saw the news, I was able to watch Royal Procession for the very first time, and Sophie's look was and absolute perfection to me. As for Prince Edward, I cannot provide close ups, but HRH wore another Ascot inspired tie with horses & jockeys. I should add, that I love Prince Edward in a top hat.

The Countess of Wessex, The Duchess of Cambridge and Crown Princess Mary enjoyed races from the royal box. The Duke of Cambridge accompanied by The Duchess presented later the Duke of Cambridge Stakes trophy to winning jockey Mickael Barzalona who rode Usherette. To see all results, click here.
