Merry Christmas from The Wessex family!

Let's start this post with lyrics from one of the merriest Christmas songs: "There'll be much mistltoeing, and hearts will be glowing, when love ones are near - it's the most wonderful time of the year..." by Andy Williams.

I hope all is well with my readers, that you didn't eat too much and you simply enjoy being with the loved ones during that special time. I recently got back from my parents and of course now I will cover royal Christmas at Sandringham. It's always such a fun day!

There was waiting a lovely surprise for me at my e-mail box, photographer Geoff Robinson sent me the most beautiful pictures of The Countess of Wessex and her family that he has taken today! One of the best Christmas gifts this year!

In the morning HM The Queen attended first service that was covered by very few photographers, including very kind Geoff Robinson. Queen arrived by car with The Countess of Wessex (always lovely to see that duo together). Princes Charles, Edward & Andrew walked by foot along with The Duke of Edinburgh, Duchess of Cornwall, Princess Royal and her husband Sir Timothy Lawrence, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice & Eugenie.

Then was the proper service, when we saw arrival of almost entire royal family. Sophie walked with both her children for the very first time. Lady Louise 'debuted' in 2011, when she was 8 years old. Today - to the delight of royal watchers, the time has come for Viscount James, who turned 8 just over a week ago. And he looked very grown up and handsome in his suit.

As for the fashion, The Countess didn't dissapoint - on the contrary. HRH looked absolutely stunning in new hat by Jane Taylor paired with gorgeous snap dress coat by Suzannah. Lady Louise looked like a 'proper' teenager in a navy flare coat (by Armani Junior) matched with Jane Taylor's hat in beret style. Both hats worn by the royal ladies are most likely bespoke designs.

The Queen has chosen vibrant red for today, great colour for HM. Duchess of Cambridge looked lovely in green (more on that later at my twin blog). I also liked ensemble worn by Princess Beatrtice & Lady Sarah Chatto. Honorable mention goes to Prince Harry and his beard. Great look for him.
