1st Day of New York visit as Global Ambassador of 100WHF’s Next Generation initiatives

New York - 10th November 2015, Tuesday

Yesterday (10th November), The Countess of Wessex has started her New York visit, to launch her new role as Global Ambassador of 100WHF’s Next Generation initiatives. Post on that can be found here.

In the morning, The Countess of Wessex departed Heathrow Airport, for The United States of America and was received upon arrrival in the afternoon, at JFK International Airport in New York, by Deputy British Consul-General for New York. Mrs Angus Galletley is in attendance throughout the visit.

The Countess of Wessex as Global Ambassador of 100 Women in Hedge Funds Next Generations Initiatives, later attended the 500th Education Event at Citi Offices in New York.

100 WHF New York Gala Honorees shared their perspectives about Shareholder and Corporate Governance Practices.

The event saw a moderated discussion with 2015 New York Gala honorees and heard their insights and views about the evolving corporate governance and shareholder practices particularly in the U.S. Panelists shared their views about the role and influence of shareholders and investors in strengthening corporate governance practices.

In the evening, HRH as Global Ambassador of 100 Women in Hedge Funds Next Generations Initiatives, attended a Dinner at Citi Offices in New York.
